Please see our terms and conditions before ordering any of our gift vouchers or calling the bookings team to arrange your activities, team building event, gala dinner or incentive trip. Once you have booked an activity or services, or purchased / redeemed a voucher from Activities Marbella, you accept and become legally bound by these terms and conditions.
Activities Marbella will supply gift vouchers or pre book experiences for you and will take all payments in relation to the purchase. When the recipient of the voucher books an experience, they will enter into a separate contract with the supplier and become subject to their terms and conditions for the duration of their experience.
Acceptance of terms and conditions
by purchasing, booking, participating or redeeming an Experience Box experience/voucher or by accessing, browsing and using any part of the www.experienceboxspain.com web site you agree to the following terms and conditions.
The prices displayed on our website are correct at the time of publication. We reserve the right to change prices without notice. Prices are valid for gift vouchers, that follow specific tax and legal schemes (long term redemption, availability conditions, VAT, etc). Private and corporate events will include 21% IVA on top of these prices, as specified in our case by case quotations.
The descriptions of experiences and venues on the website and in the voucher pack are indications only of that event. There may be slight variations in schedules, venues and timings.

To redeem your voucher, please contact us by email, phone or website form with a minimum of 48 hours (2 business days) before the requested date for the experience. Early redemption is strongly recommended to optimize availability.
Once you have bought a voucher online, or booked an experience with the experience box booking team, cancellation of your experience is not possible. If you decide to cancel, this will result in the loss of the total value of your experience.
Rescheduling of experiences will occur from time to time due to weather conditions, mechanical failure, staffing problems or illnesses, which are out of our control. Experience box or the supplier will notify you as soon as possible and an alternative date and time will be offered to you. We apologize but in these circumstances Experience Box are unable to reimburse travel, accommodation or any other expenses you may incur in relation to the cancelled experience or offer any refund of the purchase price. Should the client not accept the newly proposed dates, a refund could in some cases be organized, but always deducting 15% for administration fees.
If the participant cannot or decides not to take part in an experience, refunds are not entitled. In some cases, client can redeem the voucher for another experience, subject to availability and to a surcharge of 10% of the initial experience value. A 1/1 ratio of experiences must be maintained (for example 1 experience cannot be changed for 2 or 3 other experiences). Moreover, should the recipient wish to change the experience for a more expensive one, the difference must be paid in full at the time of re-booking. For an experience less than the voucher price, the remainder of the monies will be lost.
If the supplier or Experience Box cancels your experience indefinitely (weather, mechanical problems, etc), the recipient is entitled to a refund. In any case, refunds will always be done deducting 15% to cover the administration costs and bank charges incured by Experience Box (for the online purchase, the booking treatment, the money transfer, etc).
For some activities very much weather dependant, clients will be in a position to reschedule should the forecast not be clear (min 24h notice). If client takes the risk to proceed and redeem the voucher, costs between 20% and 100% of the price will be charged should the activity ends-up not being feasible (yacht charters, fishing, ballooning, helicopter trips, etc).
Your voucher lasts for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. You must schedule and take your experience within this time frame. The expiry date can be found on your experience voucher. After this date your voucher becomes invalid. On some experiences, a validity extention of 6 months can be requested before the actual expiry date and will involve a 50€ extention fee + possible price increases of the product.
Experience Box shall take no responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged vouchers. In this instance vouchers cannot be replaced.
We accept most major credit cards (Visa, Maestro, Mastercard) with security check features. Vouchers are dispatched once full payment has been received. We reserve the right to cancel any order where full payment has not been received within the credit terms and conditions or where a payment has defaulted. Vouchers will become void in these circumstances and the purchaser will be subject to any costs incurred.
We do our best to ensure that everything you read and see is accurate when going to publication however; the website may still contain some technical inaccuracies and typographical errors.
Value vouchers can not be exchanged against money. The customer will choose an experience corresponding to the voucher amount and pay the difference should this latter be of higher price. Should the value of the selected experience(s) be smaller than the amount on the voucher, the difference will remain as credit until expiration date of the voucher. No voucher can be resold.
Certain experiences are weather dependent and may have to be withdrawn due to poor conditions. If in doubt on the day of your experience, please contact experience box or your service provider before leaving. Your service provider or we will endeavor to re-schedule your experience as soon as possible in this instance, without penalty. Experience Box is unable to reimburse travel, accommodation or any other expenses you may incur in relation to the cancelled experience.
Activities purchased for holiday leisure : if you stay in Spain for a limited amount of days, please don't purchase a voucher before previous discussion with Experience Box. We cannot be held responsible for activities purchased but not realized for weather reasons, and no refund will be realized in such cases. Voucher remains valid for 12 months after purchase date.
Duration of Experiences
The duration stated on the information packs for each experience is an approximate time and may vary from venue to venue. Itineraries are to be used as a guideline only, as the running order on the day of your experience may change. If more participants take part, the recipient will have to accept the roster system provided by the supplier.
Some experiences have certain restrictions and requirements with regards to weight, height, age, health and legal requirements. If you are in any doubt that you cannot fulfill these requirements on an experience that you wish to purchase, please contact the experience box team and they will advise you..
If you have booked an experience knowing that these restrictions can not be met by yourselves or other participants, you may be liable for charges if your service provider has to cancel because you cannot meet these minimum requirements. Certain experiences require you to provide a health certificate or/and sign a medical declaration or disclaimer before taking part in the experience. If any of the required restrictions have been breached, your experience will be cancelled and all costs will be withheld.
Some of our experiences may involve varying degrees of risk. You may be required to sign a disclaimer before participating in an experience. We advise you to take out additional insurance cover for personal accidents, loss of limbs and even death before taking part in certain experiences.
Your safety is paramount at all times during your experience. It is important that you listen to your service providers with regards to safety procedures and adhere to them. Failure to do so will result in the termination of your experience.
Some service providers recommend or require certain items of clothing and/or footwear to be worn and brought to the experience. Restrictions may also apply to clothing worn for an experience. Please make sure you comply with these requirements before setting off for the experience. Experience Box will not be held liable for the non-provision of an experience due to a failure by the participant to bring or wear the required clothing and/or footwear. In this instance, the experience cannot be rescheduled and the value of the original voucher will be forfeited.
If you have any problems on the day of your experience, please bring it to the attention of your service provider immediately so that they have the opportunity to put matters right. Please send you’re written complaint to us and all complaints will be fully investigated.
Service providers and venues
Experience Box has carefully sourced all service providers and venues. Due to reasons beyond our control, service providers may need to withdraw venues featured on the website or in our literature. If this occurs you will be offered an alternative venue wherever possible or an alternative experience gift voucher of the same face value. Experience Box shall not be held responsible for any losses, damages, expenses or liabilities you incur in connection with an experience. Each venue holds its own terms and conditions and the customer or recipient is deemed to be aware of these conditions on acceptance of participation of an experience.
Experience Box is independently owned and operated. Service providers are individually responsible for the health and safety standards and operating practices. Experience Box therefore, makes no guarantees of the consistency or efficiency of individual service providers.
Delivery of gift box´s is to be made within five working days by an accredited courier service in Spain to any location within Spanish mainland . Full and correct delivery address details must be provided to Experience Box upon purchase of your voucher. Delivery can be made directly to the recipient or to another address at your request. If the courier company cannot deliver the voucher pack to you because of inaccurate contact details supplied, any subsequent deliveries will be made at your cost. Experience Box shall not be liable for late deliveries for any reasons beyond their control.
Some experience require a minimum number of participants and will not be possible without this group to be organized. Also, should you have only little available dates to make the experience (holidays, etc) please contact us before buying the voucher to make sure dates are available. Vouchers are available 12 months and will not be refunded should a specific date not be available, except if availability has been checked and approved previously.
Each Experience Box gift purchased will receive a voucher with full information regarding the experience.
Your voucher is an important document and must be kept safe at all times. This is your proof of payment. Photocopies of vouchers will not be accepted upon redeeming your experience with a supplier. Only originals will be accepted.
Experience Box holds no responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged vouchers.
By booking and/or redeeming experiences with Experience Box, purchasers, recipients and users indemnify Experience Box and any of their employees and agent/s against any claims, damages or loss whatsoever.
Experience Box does not hold any insurance for the experiences we offer.
All service providers are requested to hold an insurance policy for their business for third party liability cover. This is the sole responsibility of the service provider to ensure that these insurances are in place before the participation in experiences or events. We recommend you (purchasers, users and recipients of a voucher) to ask a copy of the insurance policy of the activity supplier prior to taking part of the experience.
Great care has been taken in choosing our service provider’s and venues. Experience Box does not guarantee the safety standard or satisfactory performance of any service provider, nor are we liable for any loss or damage suffered by a client whilst participating in the experience for which the service provider will be solely responsible.
Experience Box accepts no responsibility and shall not be liable for any claims for loss, injury, damage or any special exemplary punitive indirect incidental consequential damages of any kind whether based in contract, strict liability or otherwise which arise out of any connection with the use and redemption of a voucher or the performance or non-performance by any service providers, even if all parties have been advised of the possibility of damages. Experience Box shall under no circumstances be liable for any delay or failure of performance resulting directly or indirectly from an act of nature or causes beyond its reasonable control.
Experience Box Spain can use pictures taken during the activities and events for marketing purpouses (Facebook, Web, etc), except if stated by client in written before the activity takes place.
Experienceboxspain.com is a website owned by Experience Box Spain SL and as such any disputes arising from these terms and conditions shall be dealt with in a Spanish Court of Law
All these terms and conditions apply whatever the type of services and the mode of purchase you choose (online gift voucher, on the phone activity booking, office experience organization, events, etc).
